On 5 November 2019, H.E. Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, co-presided over the “CB Life & Thai Life Insurance Business Alliance Celebration Ceremony” at Melia Hotel, Yangon, together with Dr. Sandar Oo, Chairman of Myanmar Insurance Association and Managing Director of Myanma Insurance and Dr. Suthiphon Thaveechaiyagarn, Secretary-General, Office of Insurance Commission of Thailand.

On this occasion, Ambassador of Thailand congratulated CB Life and Thai Life Insurance on their partnership. This cooperation is evidently regarded as a success and has marked another milestone of the business collaboration between the two countries. She also touched upon the effort of the Myanmar government in liberalizing the insurance sector in Myanmar which is beneficial to the Myanmar business and people in general. The partnership of its kind is seem as a good example in the implementation of  Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP) in Goal 3 Job Creation & Private Sector – Led Growth and Goal 4 Human Resources & Social Development for a 21^st Century Society.
