On 14 June 2016, Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata participated in the opening ceremony of the second Black Canyon Coffee shop in Yangon at Myanmar Plaza. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pravit Chitnarapong, Managing Director of Black Canyon Thailand, and his business partner in Myanmar, U Soe Naing, Managing Director of Strong Source Company, as well as members of the press and Myanmar celebrities.

In his opening address, Ambassador Pisanu congratulated the partnership between Black Canyon Thailand and Strong Source Company of Myanmar, and spoke of Black Canyon Coffee as a well-known Thai brand, which has expanded its business to almost every ASEAN Member State. In addition, Ambassador Pisanu invited everyone to try Black Canyon Coffee’s services, including their specialty coffee drinks, and Thai and international cuisine. Lastly, Ambassador Pisanu reiterated the Royal Thai Embassy’s continuous efforts in promoting business and investment opportunities in Myanmar for Thai businessmen.
