During 19-21 September 2017, Royal Thai Embassy, Yangon in collaboration with Faculty of Dentistry, Naresuan University organized the "Royal Dental Mobile Unit" at Taunggyi General Hospital, Taunggyi, Shan State. The unit was set up by with our goodwill to provide the quality dental service by Thai dentists and experts to Myanmar people in Taunggyi and vicinity. The unit gave their service to approximately 1,000 people during 3 days of the operation.

The opening ceremony of the unit on 19 September was honored by the audience of Dr. Lin Htut, Chief Minister of Shan State as the chair with Mr. Narong Boonsatheanwong, Minister, Royal Thai Embassy. The Chief Minister also hosted farewell dinner for the group when the unit successfully finished.
