On 15 August 2022, Mr. Yordying Supasri, Minister Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, together with other officials from the embassies of Mekong-Lancang countries, attended the opening ceremony of the Food Innovation Centre and the processing course on the production of value-added dried fruit products under the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Special Fund (2020) at the Department of Research and Innovation, Ministry of Science and Technology. The objective of the project is to support and promote the technologies for research and innovation in order to address food security issue and to bring sustainable development to the Mekong region.
