On 31 May 2023, Mr. Nuttaphong Visitkitchakarn, President of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), and the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, represented by Mr. Yordying Supasri, Minister Counsellor, handed over the second badge of the relief items donated by the TBAM, the Thai community in Myanmar and the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon to the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRSC) at its office in Yangon to support the Myanmar people affected by Cyclone Mocha. It included 21 sacks of rice, 70 boxes of sanitary pads, 50 boxes of instant noodles, 80 packs of canned fish, 200 lunch boxes, 200 water bottles and cash of 16,300,000 MMK and 6,000 USD. As of now, the Thai companies in Myanmar that have contributed the assistance to Myanmar include TBAM, Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Krungthai Bank, Charoen Pokphand Group, Dutch Mill Group, Siam Cement Public Company Limited and Myanmar Information Highway Limited.

The Thai community in Myanmar will continue to support people of Myanmar. Those who wish to make contribution for the next donation to the MRCS can contact the TBAM or the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon.
