On 19 May 2023, Mr. Nuttaphong Visitkitchakarn, President of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), and the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, represented by
Mr. Yordying Supasri, Minister Counsellor, handed over initial relief aid donated by the TBAM, the Thai community in Myanmar and the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon to the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRSC) at its office in Yangon. This relief aid is to support the Myanmar people affected by Cyclone Mocha. It included 20 sacks of rice,
70 boxes of sanitary pads, 45 boxes of instant noodles, 500 tins of canned fish, 2,000 packs of dried chicken sausages, 10,000 eggs, and cash of 2,000,000 MMK and 3,000 USD. The Thai community in Myanmar will continue to support people of Myanmar.
