DESTINATION THAILAND VISA (DTV)
This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for workcation (digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/ freelancer) purposes
Required Documents
- Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages.
- Photograph taken within the last six months
- Document Indicating Current Location
- Financial evidence: amount of no less than 500,000 THB or equivalent amount, e.g. bank statements, pay slips, sponsorship letter
- Purpose of Visit
- Workcation: Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status
- Thai soft power: Proof of confirmation to attend the activity or letter of appointment from hospital/medical center
- Spouse: Proof of relationship to the DTV visa holder, e.g. a copy of marriage certificate / birth certificate / certificate of adoption
The consular officer reserves the right to request additional documents and do an interview as deemed necessary.

Period of Stay
Upon arrival, travelers with a DTV visa will be permitted to stay in Thailand for 180 days per entry. Those who wish to have an Extension of Stay through the Thai Immigration Bureau located at Government Center B, Chaengwattana Soi 7, Laksi, Bangkok 10210, Tel 0-2141-9889 (or at http://www.immigration.go.th). 1-time for a period not exceeding 180 days per entry. After the maximum stay of 180 days + 180 days needs to depart the country and re-enter Thailand with the same DTV visa within the visa validity date.
