On 13 July 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, in collaboration with the Office of Thai International Trade Promotion in Yangon and the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), welcomed 30 Thai entrepreneurs from the Business Trips to CLMV hosted by “SME SEE ASEAN” TV program on Nation TV, Thailand.

Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Minister Counsellor, briefed the group on key development and potential of Myanmar in term of trade and investment and assured that the Embassy and relevant agencies stand ready to support all entrepreneurs who wish to expand business and invest in Myanmar.

In addition, Mr. Pakainay Leng-ee, Director of the Office of Thai International Trade Promotion in Yangon, Mr. Nuttawin Phongphetrarat, Vice-President and Mr. Wuttichai Sermsongsakunchai, Committee member of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM) also joined the briefing and shared experiences and useful information on opportunities and challenges in doing business in Myanmar.
