Important Information on Visa Application

    ►  Visa processing time: With sufficient supporting documents, applicant will be granted visa within 2 working day. However, all visa applicants are strongly advised to apply at least 5-10 working days in advance of their anticipated travel, especially during holiday seasons.

   ►  Visa Application and Collection hours:

          For visa application: Monday to Friday (except Embassy’s holidays): 09.00 am-11.30am.  (Make appointment online through Visa Appointment Booking Online (VABO) at https://thaiconsularyangon.com/visa)
          For visa collection: Monday to Friday   (except Embassy’s holidays): 01.30pm-03.00pm.

    ►  The Consular Section is not able to provide same-day visa service except an applicant with an urgent need to travel to Thailand i.e. medical treatment. Request can be submitted to [email protected] or at the counter. 

    ►  Visa fee: The Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon accepts only new USD note with perfect condition. The visa fee is non-refundable. (50 USD note is not prefereble.)

    ►  Consular Officer reserves the right to request addition documents or interview as deemed necessary.

    ► Applicants who submit fraudulent documents may be barred for life from entering the Kingdom of Thailand and maximum penalties under the existing law shall be applied.
