On 4 November 2015, Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata together with executive members of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM) and Ramkhamhaeng Hospital handed over medical supplies to Myanmar Medical Association under the project “Medical Relief for Myanmar Flood Victims”, which was a collaborative effort of the Royal Thai Embassy, TBAM, and Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Public Company Limited.

Dr Rai Mra, President of Myanmar Medical Association, was present to receive the donation of medical relief items which included Medicines and Medical supplies (worth 241,350 Thai Baht). The donation of medical supplies essentially supports Myanmar Medical Association’s mobile clinics to provide healthcare and rehabilitation services for those who live in flood affected areas nationwide. This effort reflects friendship and care that Thai private sector has for their Myanmar friends as well as their readiness in lending a helping hand to Myanmar people in the time of distress.

After severe flooding hit Myanmar in July, Thai Government, private sector and people, living in both Thailand and Myanmar have continuously provided all forms of assistance to Myanmar people through various Myanmar agencies concerned.
